Related to the notice THSP/2024/19 of Vietnam Vehicle Register 24/05/2024, Isuzu Vietnam Co., Ltd announces “Recall Campaign for the Replacement of Body Control Module (BCM) to measure the auto lighting fault on ISUZU D-MAX and mu-X model produced from 2021 to 2023″ is imported & distributed by Isuzu Vietnam Co., Ltd. The program is officially implemented on 27 May 2024, at all Isuzu Vietnam Dealers nationwide.

Due to a programming error in the Body Control Module (BCM), causes an error when customers use the automatic lighting function, the error happens when customers drive vehicles in an environment condition lacking brightness such as a tunnel, at this time the taillights, license plate lights may not work although the vehicle in auto light function. To fix the error on vehicles and avoid unnecessary damage, Isuzu Vietnam announces the recall program for 706 units of ISUZU D-MAX & mu-X vehicles as follows:

Accordingly, Isuzu Vietnam Dealers will contact customers covered by this recall program to inform and invite customers to bring the vehicle to the nearest dealer for replacement of the improved spare parts. The estimated labor time is within 40 minutes. All costs of replaced spare parts and labor incurred in this program will be borne by Isuzu Vietnam.
